    reaffirming car load

    Can a car loan company change your existing loan and finance charge while reaffirming in B/K??? tried to log into my loan account today with auto to set up new payment and I was locked out, called auto loan and they said I was in B/k department. Had to leave a message, but I was curious since they are not letting me make payments if they are suspending my account???

    Once you file BK they lock you out. You will have to send a check in the mail to pay from here on out. If you reaffirm then they will give you your online access back after that.

    5/09 UST now involved no idea what happens next
    7/09 UST has decided to withdraw his motion to dismiss!
    7/27/09 DISCHARGED!!!

      With my CU I am locked out for good. Basically they told me I am no longer a member and I will have to mail in my payments to the BK Dept.

        That stay forbids them to contact you, in any manner.
        Once closed they will start up with you just like nothing happened.
