    Relief from Stay FINALLY entered

I called up the CU to let them know that it was finally entered as a docket so they would arrange to pick up their vehicle.

They asked AGAIN if there was any possible way that I could take it to them (2 hours away). I said no, and that I would have no way back home.

Then they said they will get the recovery company to call me and arrange time/place, hopefully in a couple of days.

I would really like to get this vehicle off my insurance. My new(old as hell) vehicle is much cheaper to insure!

I already cleaned it out and I am going to leave a note taped to the inside of the window. One of the windows is broken and is only staying "up" by clamps that I have inside the door (cable wire snapped), so I don't want anyone trying to roll it down. I also was going to let them know that the tires are only a year old and she is due for an oil change.

Buy some used tires and keep the year old ones!

Nah, not worth the hassle. My sister has the exact same vehicle as me, so I would have swapped with her, but she just got new tires like 6 months ago.

So pull the plates and turn them in if it's parked on private property and cancel the insurance.
And let them know you are doing it.
They will come and get it pretty quick.

The person I have been in contact with at the CU has been very friendly. I'm not taking the insurance off until it is out of my hands, I don't believe that is a responsible thing to do. If they don't call in the next day or so, I will call again.
