Monthly disposable income (Line 48 - Line 49)

What is a safe area for this number Im getting about -300 to -500 a month with about 13k a year over the median.

What is the highest that people have been able to get a chapter 7 to go though with being negative.

    Thanks

generally, if your disposable income is negative you are in good shape.

Yeah but as my attorney pointed out, you don't want to be "too much in the negative" monthly because it may cause your Trustee to look at your case much closer and s/he might think some things (cars, mortgage, etc) *might* be a hardship on you.
I was a busy little bee, collecting receipts for everything and figuring ALL my expenses for this past year including everything from firewood to club store memberships and my final figure was $-750. My attorney wanted my petition to "fit in" with the rest and pass the Trustee without raising any flags, his final number from me was $-132, I was a little worried that the Trustee could "throw out" anything in my petition which would put me in the positive catagory, but my attorney wasn't worried.

      P.S. I was 21k over the median.
