Auto Repairs

Im going to need to do some auto repairs. I want to use a credit card but im a little worried if i file for bk.....at some point down the road. I can make payments on this card for a while but not my other ones.

What do you guys think yea or nay?

If you Have to use a Credit Card for auto repairs, then do it IF you cannot afford the repairs by paying cash.

As long as the payments on this specific charges do not equal $600 within the past 90 days of filing, it is okay to pay only this credit card for about 3-6 months.

When we retained our BK Attorney late last Sept. He told me to stop paying on all Credit Cards except one I had an August Balance Transfer. BK Attorney stated to make the minimum payments & add around $20 - $50 to the payment for 3 months and stop. Those were his words when he thought we would be filing in Dec. 2008 or Jan 2009.

Because of some monies I was receiving & searching this Forum, I found out this monthly monies was Income. Due to stock market tanking, I received the last of this monthly monies received in 4/09. That monies would have put us Over on our State's Median Income & I didn't want that to occur.

So, we will be filing in 9/09 using Mar-Aug Gross Income. I've never wanted time to fly by, but I can't wait until I get our BK info to our Attorney the 1st of September LOL!

I used a credit card to pay for about $2,000 worth of maintenance/new tires on my car in the last couple of months.
And considering that I joined this forum in Apr...I felt kind of weird using the credit card knowing I was thinking about bk, but I had no other way to pay so...
But, the earliest we will most likely file is Feb 2010. I'll keep making payments on this one card and try not to worry about it.
