    341 over--what's next?

Went to our 341 this morning, like everyone we were super nervous. Mine was because this wasn't our 1st time filing, we filed Ch 13 in 2004 but couldn't finish, went 1/2 through and it was dismissed in 2007 b/c we couldn't make the payments. But the trustee was very cordial, just the usual questions and it was over!

Now what? Didn't get a chance to talk to our attorney afterwards, and I can't remember what he told us in our 1st meeting. 1) we do another one of those online credit counseling sessions -- right away? We really need to buy a car since our 2nd car's timing belt broke a couple months ago. Can we start using our bank accounts? Can we buy/finance a car? Is there anything else we should be waiting for--our creditor objection deadline is 7/27 I think.

Thanks for responses and also for all the information available on this forum.

you wait. sign up for Pacer so you can track your case. you can use your bank acct, but i wouldnt keep any large amount in there. Trustee might not approve of you buying a car till discharged, dont apply or use any credit till discharged at all. takes at least 60 days after 341 till discharge, my 341 wasnt entered with the court for over 2 weeks, and from what i hear, most courts are backed up, so some are waiting 3-4 months to discharge from date of 341(hope im wrong on that!). I almost forgot, yes, you need to need to take the post bk course within 45 days of 341. I used an online firm called 50-30-20 money plan. It was the lowest priced one i found. It was only $14.95 and court approved. Took about 2 hrs. to complete.
