I had a very bad day today and just wanted to come home, relax with the wife and kids and forget today ever existed. Well, when I went to the mailbox, I saw a letter from the US bankruptcy court. I dreaded opening it as I could not take any more bad news today. Well, lo and behold, my DISCHARGE papers came in!!! I yelled out in triumph and scared my neighbors half to death. What a great way to end a very miserable day! My new life started tonight after a year and half of losing my job (laid off after 15 years), my money and all of my possessions that my wife and I worked so hard for. Just a lesson that even professionals can unexpectantly lose everything in a moment's notice.
