Experience w/ GA trustees and ? about spending

    Hi,
Anyone have experience with trustees in the northern district of Georgia? Specifically, what documentation do they ask for?

Also, for everyone else, I am not filing for another 5-6 months so that several one-time income instances will fall off, including my tax refund. DH and I are taking our three kids to the beach in July but will be staying in a family home, so the only expenses we'll have are food, gas and any other activities we may do.

If we put the groceries, gas and a few eating out trips on our debit card from another state will this raise a red flag with the trustee? How should we handle this if so? Take small amounts of cash out over the next four months to use while we travel?

Personally, I think I'd use cash.

      I would agree with keepmine.

When using debit card at like Wal-Mart, take a $20 or so more in cash and keep cash in safe place.

It will be at least Sept. 09 before we file and you never know what could happen by then.

Well, in GA it shows on your bank statement when you get cash back from some stores (Publix for instance)...so I wonder if this will still raise a red flag. Maybe I could just write checks for over the amount instead of using the debit card...sigh.

We are in the southern district of Ga. and ours asked for 6 months pay stubs, 2 years tax returns, bills to prove our monthly expences, these included the house payment, power, water, cable etc. They also wanted all creditors and amounts owed, and our property tax bill that showed what the county estimated our house to be worth.

We didn't have to show any bank statements. Hope this helps.
