Timing of Predischarge Education -- Too Soon?

I filed today (3/2/09) and would like to complete my predischarge education ASAP--i.e. tomorrow. According to the form, the course must be completed within 45 days of the first date set for the 341 (mine is 4/9/09). It doesn't say that it has to be done AFTER the 341.

Part of why I want to finish now is because I am doing Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University (Bankruptcy Edition) and after researching it, I will be taking the entire 14 week FPU program at a local chuch starting Sunday.

Anyone know why I couldn't complete the predischarge education tomorrow. I see know problem from the language of the form. Is there anything in the bankruptcy code itself saying it must be done after the 341?

The only thing the bk law states about the post-filing debtor education course is that it must be taken before discharge (although some districts ask filers to do it within 45 days of filing - yours must be one of those). You can sign up and complete the course anytime after filing that you want. Tomorrow is fine. Just be sure your lawyer is aware and gets the certificate so it can be filed with the court.
