BK7 babysitting income & IRS question

    Hi,
I have been in process of BK 7 in past three months and my attorney is very slow to the process. he is about to file and I told him that my wife did babysitting last year and he noted around $4000 for my wife income in his schedule sheet for additional income. She is no longer watching the baby and our friend said they are not going to report for the money they paid my wife and I forgot to file with when I did my taxes this year.
My question is if I would have problem with IRS if my attorney have that income in my filing.
I have already given him 2000 for his fee and I do not think he would change my statement now and would not pay me back so I can go with different attorney.

    Any advise??

    Thank you

If your wife earned income from babysitting, it needs to be included. Now is the time to lay it all out on the table. I don't know if the IRS has the time to comb through bankruptcy petitions to see if the numbers match up with what is on their tax returns. Probably not. If you wife earns the income, your attorney is doing his job by putting it on the forms.

It depends on when she had income last. If it was more then 6 months ago it doesn't go on your BK.

oh yeah, that too. But it would still be listed on the Statement of Financial Affairs.
