What did you have to provide to the trustee before you see him/her and or at the 341?

Through research here I have seen that you may be asked to provide the trustee with copies of your tax returns, bank statements, pay check stubs, titles to motor vehicles, an appraisal of your home (if you own one) along with a recorded mortgage and deed? At the 341 meeting, correct?

Also...for instance, we have a trust...you know who gets our "money" after bk and death. I assume that doesn't come into play...or does it? Copy? Original? Originals on anything? Do I really need a SS card? I don't think I have seen mine in like 20 years.

I had to provide all my paperwork to the attorney. When the petition was filed the Trustee contacted the attorney for everything.

As to the trust - I had to provide a complete copy of my trust to the attorney and yes, the Trustee asked for it too.

Yes, you have to bring the ORIGINAL SS card to the 341. There were people dismissed because they could not come up with their original SS card. If you can not find yours, go right away to your local SS office and get a replacement card.

I filed pro se and I was asked to provide paystubs for the 2 months before filing and the most current paystub. I also has to provide copies of my 2007 federal and state tax returns. I had to fill out a questionnaire for the trustee as well. I do not own a home or a car (I use my DHs car).

I was not asked for any additional paperwork at my 341, just had to show my DL and SS card.
