    Borrowing from friends and family?

I can't find answer on this, so hopefully someone can respond here.

My attorney said that if the Trustee asks at my 341 next week "So, I see you are -$300 short every month, on average, how are you covering that expense if not using credit cards any more?" My attorney said it is OK to say "I'm borrowing from friends and family".

    Do you all agree?

From what I read, if I *pay them back* if would be considered preferential, but nothing is preventing me from begging and borrowing from them, and not pay them back? Yes/no?

    Any thoughts?

you could say friends and family are helping you with no obligation to pay them back.

Yes, better not to say "borrowing". Say friends and family are giving you money as no-strings-attached gifts.
I am not a lawyer and this is not legal advice nor a statement of the law - only a lawyer can provide those.
