You guys got me all worried about this, so I Called my attorney. She said rather matter-of-factly: "In chapter 7 they don't take your refund." (I'm in Michigan). Is this true?
Also, I've heard that if you don't OWE, you don't have to file by April 13. Assuming one didn't owe anything, couldn't someone filing CH7 in Dec or Jan just not do their taxes until later in the year, like August?
