I usually look at the Docket Report - it's more detailed than the history and you get the gist of what each filing is about without having to open each individual document.
I think it's good to look at it before your 341. If I had looked at the case summary before our 341 hearing I would have seen the UST's means test flag ahead of time. I also would have seen that the attorney forgot to pay the filing fee. The more you know about your case, the better...
I was just poking around our docket history and noticed that the Assistant UST and a local trustee have been assigned. Is it normal to have someone from the UST office already assigned to our case, or is this a sign that the UST will be involved?

I don't think so. I read that the UST reviews all above median petitions. I wouldn't read too much into it unless there were flags in the Summary.
