Trustee holding payments-4 months to discharge

We have 4 months to go until last payment due in April 2014. Filed 4/2009, 5 year plan. $585 payment with 100% percent only to cars & taxes for secured debt. Cars have been paid off since October 2012, taxes now show 0 balance on 13 website. Our credit cards were all unsecured..

I just noticed that in Decemeber the trustee only took a payment for her fee for 18.00 instead of her usual 26.00.. Also we now show about $18.00 balance on hand.

Our base is $35,100 & plan payments show $31,192..

Will the trustee pay any money to the credit cards? What happens if we end of with a balance on hand in April 2014?

I guess Im hoping we might get discharged before the 5 year mark..!

    Thanks for any help!

Our trustee issued us a refund of the balance.

Once your secured creditors have been paid, the trustee will pay the unsecured creditors. If your committment period was 60 months, you will continue to make payments until all approved unsecured claims are paid 100% or until the end of the 60 months, whichever comes first. If you pay more than is required to pay 100% of all unsecured claims and the trustee fee, you will receive a refund.
