Authorized Uses on CC

I am an Authorized uses on someone else's CC. When I ran my Credit Report this balance shows up. How is this balance handled in a Chapter 13?
Do I have my name taken off that account now before I file? or? It is my balance but this person does not mind paying it for me....I just don't want to affect their credit. Please help! Thank you.

To be certain, I would have them remove my name prior to filing. While it technically should not affect them, I've seen some strange credit reporting. This should insure that the entry will only be affected on your case.

Additionally, you should not list the account if you are not legally responsible for the debt.
