Can the trustee make a distribution payment AFTER the ch13 is closed???

We made all our payments and received the letter of completion from the trustee saying we completed all our payments and were released from making any more.

But...our plan base is 32707, and it lists $31799. as under "payed to all parties".
Plus it says they still have 908. on hand.

So, I'm wondering if they will make another payment even though it is listed as closed on 10/25.
Any help is greatly appreciated!!

It sounds like your 13 isn't "closed" yet - you just don't need to make any more payments while your trustee is completing his/her mandatory audit.

Until you've received a letter from the court yet stating your Ch 13 is officially discharged and then another letter several weeks to several months later stating your Ch 13 is officially closed, your case isn't really closed yet.

As HHM said, what you are seeing on DataCenter is not something for you to worry about. What your trustee does with any remaining funds will be determined by the audit. Instead turn your energy to thinking about what hard-earned lessons you are going to carry over into your post-13 financial world that is rapidly approaching (yay!). Congratulations on being so close to the finish!

Thanks HHM and lrprn...LOL you're so right! Believe me we think about and talk about what we've learned a great deal...I really don't want to even see a credit card again! Our motto is "if we don't have cash to pay for it...we're not getting it". I do realize for some that things come up where you might need a credit card. I'm just not willing to go that route! It's also amazing what happens when you KNOW exactly where every penny is going. I just love doing things with hold hard cash!! Thanks again for all your imput!!
