Discharge timelime question for anyone in PENNSYLVANIA

Hi all. I am near the ending of my Chapter 13. All payments have been made. All checks to Creditors have been cashed. The Trustee's office told me this morning on the phone that they will be releasing their report of my status to the Bankruptcy court at the end of this month. Can anyone tell me how long it takes in the Western Pennsylvania Bankruptcy Court for the judge to sign my discharge? I was thinking a few more weeks.

First, congrats for making it to the end of your 13 successfully, shellbell! Way to go!

Your lawyer is the best person to answer how much longer before the official discharge letter finally arrives. He/she knows the patterns and timelines in your local court better than anyone else will.

Shellbell, hopefully it goes quick for you. My final payment was in beginning of July and I am still waiting. Haven't heard anything, when I called Trustee office they said it takes 3-6 months. I think it's crazy to go thru this for five years and then have it drag on at the end!! Congrats to you on finishing!
