Can anyone give me any information about filing Chapter 13 in New Jersey

I have retained an attorney and we are working on our expenses. I am so nervous because our debt is large around $150,000. Can anyone share any experiences about the Trustees and the hearings in Newark New Jersey. We should be filing in about a month or so.

I can't speak about Newark (other than it's a third world country) but the BK process is fairly relaxed and forgiving in NJ, precisely because so many folks are forced into it by the lack of homestead protection (like FL), wage garnishment being allowed (unlike PA), and extremely paltry debtors' exemptions outside of BK. Just remember to max out your 401k contributions if you're lucky enough to still be working.
