The more I think about it, the more I see filing to be the honorable thing to do.

I know several people that are no doing anything about their creditors. Most are just letting the cc companies just harass them, and if they get summoned, then they will deal with it.

Others just let the house go and deal with the conquences later.

It seems to me that filing is the responsible thing to do, especially compared to doing nothing and not taking any accountability.

Props to those that filed and took the step to financial freedom!

Can't wait to get this thing over with in a few years.

I agree with you Espo. We have always paid our bills, never late. But husband fired after 39 years and even tho' we had always paid our bills, we were way too deep into debt. The cc companies put the screws to us and there was really only one way out. I feel like we have paid the cc 100 times over in interest. I am not ashamed of filing bk at all as we are paying back those who are owed. We are not walking away scott free from our obligations. I can sleep at night because we are not ate up in interest payments to those bastard cc companies.
