    Quit my job

I quit my job today. It was because I was being bullied to get the product my company sells and I don't really want or need it. I brought home less than $1000/month and we are planning on filing Chapter 13 in the next month or so. How will this affect my filing? I am planning on finding another job hopefully soon.

    Thanks.

The real question is... can you even fund a Chapter 13 now. Also, what impact your loss of income will have on secured debt like housing (mortgage) and/or car payments.
    Chapter 7 (No Asset/Non-Consumer) Filed (Pro Se) 7/08 (converted from Chapter 13 - 2/10)
Status: (Auto) Discharged and Closed! 5/10

There is no easy answer. The first question I have for you is do you already have a lawyer? Next, why were you filing a 13 in the first place? Lots of moving parts here and we need to know a little bit more background. I just recently quit my job as well, in order to keep our ch13 viable. I can relate although our situations may be a little different.....

Yes we have an attorney and a good one I believe. We have $115,000 in CC debt we are planning on keeping house and cars. I only made less than $1000 a month. Our attorney thinks she can get the payment to about $500.

I assume there is some other income source? From a spouse or partner?
