Our 341 meeting is done! Whoo hooo! I stressed out WAAAY too much over it. It took 10 minutes. The usual questions, then the trustee had some questions about my husbands business, we requested a payment waiver, and it was granted. The TT wished us luck, And that was that.

The only sucky part, is that we thought we'd be in a 42 month plan, the TT wants a 60 month plan. We're going back to the drawing boards with our budget before confirmation.

What does the payment waiver do?

allows us to pay the trustee's office directly vs. having a wage garnishment. My husband is in charge of 15 other people in a small company of 75. So the wage order would have compromised any promotions etc that he may be up for.

Congrats on your 341. I in Portland also. Will be filing around mid year, trying to do a loan mod first. Want to use chapter 13 as last resort if need to stay in house longer.
