What exactly happans at confirmation hearing

Please forgive me if this has been discussed in detail before. I did a search and couldnt come up with what I am looking for.
Ok, 341 held, some minor changes needed made on my plan. One including an expense my lawyer wasnt sure about and the trustee after hearing my explanation agreed to let it in so my plan amount will go down that amount. After agreeing to the expenses the trustee just said to my attorney pls submit the changes and my attorney agreed.
So anyway I saw yesterday online that my confirmation hearing is scheduled form 3-25-10. So my questions are as follows:
    1) Would my attorney just have to have the changes filed by that date or does this occur sooner. I guess my main concern would be is my pmt amt going to change b4 he confirmation or after ??
    2) Do I have to attend the confirmation hearing ??
3)Creditors have till 3-9-10 to file claims . So anyone who by chance did not file is more or less "out of luck" and cant come after me at some later time ??

Sorry for all the ??'s but you guys are always so great at answering my questions....

They shine a laser beam in your eyes to do a retinal scan and then they stick this big ol' needle in your arm to draw blood so they can do a DNA test to confirm that you are who you say you are. The blood draw nurses are affirmative action hires from the dropouts at your local community college. So sometimes they have to dig a bit to find that vein. But you'll live. Especially if you are otherwise healthy.

Seriously . . . here at least, we don't even do confirmation hearings unless a creditor has objected to confirmation. So NOTHING happens. I think that's pretty much the standard nation wide.
Pay no attention to anything I post. I graduated last in my class from a fly-by-night law school that no longer exists; I never studied or went to class; and I only post on internet forums when I'm too drunk to crawl away from the computer.

You forgot the part about where they pull the fingernails out in order to make sure you're telling the truth.

        1) The changes would need to be in by the confirmation hearing date (or the hearing continued for cause)
        2) Not usually. In my district no one has to go unless there is an unresolved objection to confirmation, if there is the attorney must go but the debtor is optional. If the trustee recommends confirmation and there are no creditor objections the plan is confirmed a few days later after the recommendation and there is no hearing at all (once agian, my district YMMV).
        3) Correct - except for government agencies, they have an extra 90 days to file a claim.
