    Confirmation Tuesday..

What to expect? I'm getting nervous all over again!

My confirmation date came and passed without any problems. I didn't even know ahead of schedule when it was going to happen...I just noticed it on 13 data center website and about a week later my confirmation paperwork arrived in the mail. Hopefully it's a non-issue for you too...

      Your disposable income

I noticed you stated your payment was $125 for 3 years?? Was this figured from your schedule J? or your means 22C? I also have $63 unsecured debt but I have only $166 left over onmy disposable income. All my secured is excempt and personal belongings. My income was over the meddian so I am forced into a chapter 13. I am nervous that the TT might say, my disposable is too low for me to pay back the unsecured ($63K). (although they all unsecured). My two cars are underwater (owe more tha they are worth..and I meet the 910 timeline.
      help..thank you

We were under the median income so we didn't complete all of 22C (just through section III). Schedule J was used to get our DMI which was $144. Our payment of $125 month/3 years came from having unexempt assests that added up to $4,500. Hence the payment amount over the 3 years that totals that amount. Your DMI of $166 is enough to fund the plan...our unsecured creditors aren't getting squat after paying the attorney and trustee fees out of the $4,500 paid. If you have at least $100 of DMI, you can get approved as long as the trustee agrees to your expenses claimed.

        Good luck!

          I feel so guilty

thank you so much..I feel sooo guilty...I tried for so long..I lost all my money on my down payment for house..underwater. Ihang on to my house and used my taxes to keep up with mortgage payments and made the minimun on the credit cards then they raised them to 24.99 and 30 % I had them 15 years. I exempted my house (I short refi) and my 2 cars. All my personl items are exempt and I filed homestead deed toget the exempt. My only worry is the credit union-my cars are financed with them (I paid 3.5 years) and now they are underwater (market value). They might try to take them back..but I am trying to exempt them ( because of the credit card balance with them). We'll see. The lawyer I saw was very snobby (paralegal) with me and told me I wouldn't qualify for a 7 so I chose a cpt 13 and had $166 over and $144 with my 22C. I file in the morning. I am soooo nervous. thank you for your reply.
