I recently printed out my credit report - planning on Chapter 13 here shortly, and I noticed that one of my credit cards had a name as a joint account holder, that was my friend from about 10 yrs ago, she was needing tires no credit so i applied for the card and then she paid me back...only problem is they have her first name correct, but used my last name....So technically this person does not exist, so what do I do when I file bankruptcy...most posts i have seen say that the person will have to sign off of the account as a joint holder, well i'm in a pickle cuz' that person does not exist.
Also, how do these credit card companies get our work numbers, i just received one from Discover and it's pissing me off...i'm going to lose my job if these people don't lay off...I just tell them (pretending its not me) that i can only take a message, and the lady actually said it was a personal matter with "Discover Card" please have her call us. Can they actually do this?
