Just thought I'd update again, with another turn of the tide.
Remember that in early March Grandpa received notice that his hours had been cut drastically and I wasn't going to be able to make my trustee payments and would either get dismissed for non-payment or convert to a Ch 7? I wasn't going to be able to keep my health insurance and it would be a scramble just to buy groceries.
Well, it's all changed again.
Last Saturday I received a call from a headhunter I had sent a resume to about 10 years ago. He was looking for someone to fill a position at a local well-known non-profit. I sent my resume and interviewed Monday, accepted the position on Tuesday and started work on Wednesday. Our income more than doubled in a matter of 2 days.
The really cool part is before I filed bk 2 1/2 years ago, I was told I was not employable because I had been out of the workforce too long. I didn't have a current work history. Well, to the know-it-all placement agency that said that....
It looks like we are gonna make it after all.
