credit card payments before filing

Hi,
I am meeting with a lawyer in about 3 months. I am most definitely going to file....my question is do I need to pay the minimum payments on my cc until I actually file or can I skip this months payments?

Most people when they decide to file stop paying credit cards. Why pay?

But be prepared for hounding phone calls, threats, intimidations. As a matter of fact close your bank accounts ASAP to avoid any default judgments against you that might contain a provision to freeze your bank accounts.
