Greetings Ray. The forum god's discourage recomendations of this type here. It is like advertising and if it does not work out, the liability reflects upon this forum. The best way recommended is to interview three or more lawyers to find the one that looks right for you. 'Hub
If I knew it all, would I be here?? Hang in there = Retained attorney 8-06, Filed 12-28-07, Discharge 8-13-08, Finally CLOSED 11-3-09, 3-31-10 AP Dismissed, Informed by incompetent lawyer of CLOSED status, October 14, 2010.

You can call your state bar association and ask for a list of BK attorneys practicing in your area.

Another option is to call the clerk of your BK court and ask them for some recommendations. Another poster suggested that course of action, and added that since the clerk's office deal with these attorneys every day, they will know the ones THEY like to deal with (paperwork up-to-date; minimal corrections, etc.) as well as the ones they DON'T like to deal with (the attorneys that continually have to correct mistakes, are late, etc.) and will more than likely give you a list of the GOOD ones!

      Good luck!

Someone (lazar?) is going to need to explain the "BK Directory" tab to me then.
