That's a toss up. For your welfare I would say not a luxury. You would have to justify that you need a safe car for work, etc. However, if you intend to bk that credit card you purchased the tires on, it could be misuse or fraud against that card. I would hold off for some time and make at least a minimum payment on that card. 'Hub
