    Trustee Takes Last Cut

Stalking NDC, I noticed a change in my account yesterday.

As I've reported, before the garnishment of wages was rescinded, my employers payroll department had already sent another half payment to the trustee. As an aside, I got in touch with the department and confirmed that they got the order to rescind payments to the trustee by faxing them my copy of the order and confirming in writing that they got it to ensure that it would be effective the next payroll cycle.

After all the checks were made out, as of a few days ago I had a zero balance on the account from completing all base payments. Well, the trustee posted my last half payment last night, AFTER TAKING HIS 4% CUT!!!!

It wasn't a whole lot, about enough for a couple of cheeseburger meals from the local burger joint.

    I know....I know......quit being a baby.......

I guess everybody wants their piece. I imagine with the economy is getting somewhat better these Trustees and BK Lawyers are starting to feel the pinch.

I know I shouldn't look at anything until the 8th as that is as soon as the Trustee will close the case but I look at NDC every day. NDC appears to be down today. Maybe for the best. LOL

Don't be so sure Out4Good....the trustee automatically takes his percentage when the money comes in (I think it's an auto process rather than manual). I think what you'll see when it's time to process that payment is a reversal of the trustee fee and you'll get the full amount back. There was a small trustee reversal on my account at the end, as the system took the full percentage when the payment was received (but since I had deliberately overpaid) the over trustee payment was reversed. Have faith, i' feel pretty god about this one.

Your not being a baby! If you paid your share that is all they get! 🌺 I hope anyway! There are always rules and loopholes we learn as we go along! 🙃
Discharge date: October 2017 (will it ever get here?)
