Hey all
I have been lurking for a while. One, I didn't find you all until after I filed the big B and two, I have been in such a state, I really was trying to hold it together. Had to be strong for the 341 meeting and any other meeting I had with attorneys.
Well,
Some lessons learned here. There was one guy who was pro-se; nothing wrong with that if you are prepared. Apparently, there were issues with etrades and documentation and bank statements.
The trustee does not want originals. So, that is not the time to snipe at the trustee. Which they did. The person complained that the trustee gave a continuance to come up with the proper docs. I would not complain. At least they got another date.
Another debtor. Not so lucky. They didn't show and that is one meeting you don't miss. I think the case was dismissed.
My dealings were pretty straightforward. One that threw me for a loop was asking me the average bank balance I had month to month. So I think there is no true way to fully prepare. But I have to say that the support and materials you provided were very helpful. Many thanks for that.
As of right now, the case is closed, but I am going to keep my fingers crossed until ...I cross the finishline.
(yes, I am a worrywort)
