We were called about 2 hours later than planned so there was a lot to listen to.
One debtor that only spoke Spanish and needed in interpreter via conference call to talk to the trustee. The debtor didn't know anything about the questions the trustee was asking, such as where a bunch of assets went.
Another debtor that couldn't answer the trustee when he signed the petition (it was filed months ago) as the petition the trustee had did not have a signature. The debtor kept looking at his lawyer to answer for him.
Then we were called. Our lawyer (who is also a trustee) said to the trustee that we will be the easiest all day... and it was! Straight forward questions with straight forward answers. The only thing out of the ordinary was the trustee asked my wife to sign an affidavit that she doesn't receive pay stubs. Meeting closed.
Let the 60 days begin!
