Hooters Not Accepting New Customers!

I am not sure if this has been posted here before.

I went to the Hooters Mastercard site to apply for a new card and could not find an online application link.

I called the toll free telephone number on the site and was told by a representative that Hooters will not be accepting any new customers at this time, and they are not sure if they will be in the future.

This has nothing to do with BK as I didn't even mention who I was or any information at all. My call was answered by a representative and I asked how I could go about applying for a card as a new customer.

Anyone know what is going on with this?

Actually, this happens quite often. Hooters takes their applications down all the time. They usually reopen the process after a few months.
