1 day after my discharge I got an cc offer in the mail i've been discharged since december.
Not a week goes by that I don't get a letter offer in the mail.
I finally applied yesterday for one from HSBC online and got it.
I filed Ch. 7 in August 2008 and it was discharged in February 2009. DH gets offers all of the time, but only uses a Capital One card for reimbursed travel expenses through work (I'm listed as an additional card holder/signer). I, on the other hand, have only been offered the 60% (!!!), $300, $75 annual fee First Premier Card, which I took, thinking it could help me re-build my credit. We believe, that because the mortgage is in my name, and the house is currently in foreclosure, banks have been sheepish about offering me credit. I'd probably be better off closing the FP card and investing the $75 annual fee in a good growth stock mutual fund. Think I might actually do that...
