Can you beleive it? Approved by Cap1!

I'm only 3 months out from my discharge and even though I BK'd 12,000 on Cap1, they still approved me for a credit card for $500. Not too bad since my only goal was to get a cc with a high enough limit so I can rent a car while on vacation.

After being broke for so long, I now have a nice paying job and no other debt so that probably helped a great deal, since I think my credit scores are still in the toilet.

I think it was especially nice of Cap1 since I spent greater than a year avoiding their collection calls.

So there is hope for everyone out there to recover from a BK.

Did you get a solicitation in the mail or did you just go to their website and apply?

Yeah! I know people on this board call them "crap1", but I have two cards with them and haven't had any problems so far I applied a few days after discharge and was accepted, they even increased my limit (doesn't really matter since I don't carry a balance ) after the 1st three months.
