    Authorized User still help credit?

If I add my wife to my capitol one credit card account as a Authorized User is it going to help her credit? I know that it use to, but thought I read some where they were changing that because there were people abusing it.

Fair Issac did stop including credit card data to help calculate all authorized users' credit scores back in 2007, but then in late 2008 they reversed themselves and now include "some" authorized user information to calculate credit scores. See https://www.msbonline.com/pdfs/Credit_Scores.pdf for the details.

I didn't file bk, but my husband did. I added him as an authorized user to two of my credit cards. His experian score went up 39 points and his transunion score only went up one point.

Great PDF read the hole thing. Im glad that a limited number of authorized accounts still help credit. I'm going to get my wife to add me to her accounts as a authorized user and add her to mine as a authorized user or would there be a way to make them join accounts?
