Hello,
Someone told me to ask you about a legal question; and it helps that you live in California.
I just filed for Bankruptcy (Chapter 7), and my car regirstation is due this month on the 14th. Not only do I need a smog check still, but I've got two unpaid parking tickets. So it's about 650-700 bucks I have to pay. Luckily, it seems like the DMV has consolidated all of the tickets and fees, so that means I don't have to go through different channels to pay this off.
Since I've used up my money for the lawyer's fees, is there a way to push back the deadline (without any additional fees)? Or is there a payment plan I can do with the DMV?
For sure I'll call them up tommoorw to see what I can do. Anyway thanks.
