Your helpful information confirms what I was hoping. Here in Michigan, I have the choice of going state or federal, and I decided on going with the Fed-Exemp's, which the NOLO site is now showing at: $1,225. (for wildcard), plus a unused portion of the federal homestead exemption up to $12,250. -- for a total of $13,475.
This will help tremendously. Again, I'm so thankful for you getting back to me. ;) I'll be finishing my Schedules B & C tomorrow morning, plus my Summary of Schedules & Declarations.
