Well the trustee finally got our exempt portion of our tax return back to us. We bought my aunt and uncle's explorer. I'm off later to buy new car seats for the kids and the rest will go to tax, title, licence, and new tires.
I'm just curious now. The trustee kept the $357 of our tax return that we couldn't exempt. We are still listed on Pacer as no asset and no requests for proof of claim have ever been sent. It seems silly to try and distribute that small an amount to creditors. What does the trustee do now. Will the $357 just go to the trustee for administrative costs. If that is the case are we an asset case or a no asset case.
Honestly I could care less what happens to the $357 but I do wonder.
