Did anyone's attorney recommend filing a certified copy of your Discharge in the public records with your county in which you reside?

We filed 6/4/10. We usually get around $2,000 in tax refund.

We actually owed a little bit this year, because my husband changed exemptions a few too many times last year to try to stay above water and make his paychecks bigger.

Husband might end up with severance package...

We had our first BK meeting today, called a 341. We were very nervous, but things went fine until the Trustee informed us that on the date of filing we had more than the $300 allowed in our checking. Neither my husband or I remember the lawyer telling us that the checking had to be under $300 at time...

So my wife's CH7 filing is going fairly well...had some bumps at 341 meeting (lawyer didn't even bother to show...sent some stranger to stand in for him, and US trustee was pretty harsh), but we're past that. I think we have another week before she is at the magic 61 day mark (and hopefully gets discharge...
