So if I were to make a payment on my credit card now dec 20th when would it show on the bureaus it has been paid off? I pay it off every month now but I want to apply for a personal loan for $4800 and want no debt on my report.

I have been trying to clean up both my daughter's credit reports (I have PofA). My Bank of America account and Citibank account are listed on their reports. I've settled these accounts; however, they were listed as joint. They were never joint, only authorized users and that was 10 years ago.

Should I send a separate letter for each different creditor that is improperly reporting - or include them all in one letter? Any thoughts or experiences on which approach might be the most successful?

So, we are about 2 1/2 months post discharge and close for c7, no asset. I pulled DH and my Equifax reports today. Everything is listed correctly as IIB, -0- balance on both of our reports EXCEPT, the mortgage is still showing active on MY report only. We are current, never late and keeping the house...

Due to a very long story (hopefully not important to my question here), I have a choice between my using my credit report that went through bankruptcy or a completely blank credit report. Would establishing all new credit be harder than re-establishing my dammaged credit....
