after being discharged, i really thought i would wait it out about 6 months or so to apply for any credit. we had toss the topic over and over again.
one of us believes we should never have it again....and one of us KNOWS we need to get a mortgage again (guess which one I AM!! LOL!!)....

Applied for Cap One yesterday (again). This time I didn't get instant denial (yay)
said I would have an answer within 7-10 business days. Is this a good sign? Bad sign? Can go either way?
We included them in our BK (discharged May 10) and have been denied once or twice because we had too much current or past delinquent accounts with them.

I have been approved to incur debt for a car. I would like to apply to a few lenders to compare rates. I have read that when applying for auto loans, there is no significant impact to credit score because there is expectation that people will shop rates. Is this true?
