Joseph Ryan is a Milwaukee bankruptcy attorney and lifelong resident of Southeastern Wisconsin. He was born in Milwaukee and grew up in Waukesha. He received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin and his law degree from Marquette University Law School. While in law school, Joe interned for the Office of the United States Trustee. They are the “watchdogs” of bankruptcy court. After graduation, he worked as an associate doing Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 bankruptcies, as well as Chapter 128 state actions. In June of 2013, Joe left his associate position to open Milwaukee Debt Attorneys. He now helps people fight foreclosure and obtain debt relief through the bankruptcy code and non-bankruptcy alternatives. Joe is committed to providing his clients with the highest quality debt related representation available. He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and the Bankruptcy, Insolvency, and Creditor/Debtor’s rights section of the State Bar of Wisconsin. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Wisconsin as well as the Federal Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin.
