Born in Tacoma, Nick is a life-long Washingtonian. He knows first-hand how difficult it can be to make ends meet; he weathered the Great Recession with his family, and grew up in a middle-class neighborhood in Spokane where everyone took care of each other. For that reason, Nick has always gravitated toward helping others. After paying his way through college at the University of Washington by working 30 hours a week as a telemarketer, he attended Harvard Law School where he focused on all things having to do with money and families. After graduating from Harvard Law School, Nick was fortunate enough to work at the top ‘Big Law’ firm in the Pacific Northwest, honing his skills under the mentorship of the regions’ best and brightest attorneys.Eager to apply what he’d learned to help every day people, Nick left his job in Big Law to work as a community college adjunct faculty member, teaching at Bellevue College, South Seattle Community College, and then eventually at the University of Washington. His courses always focused on how law applies to peoples’ daily lives.Over the years, Nick has built his firm around helping people with the most important things in their lives, helping people insure protection and resources for their loved ones. Nick now focuses largely on personal bankruptcy law (Chapter 7 and Chapter 13): he’s dedicated to practicing in an area that can help individuals—including those impacted by Covid-19—press the ‘re-set’ button on their financial lives and get a second chance. If you’re interested in speaking directly with Nick for a free consultation, don’t hesitate to call us at 206-539-1661—he’ll do everything he can to help you find a fresh start.
