I was born and raised in Shawnee, OK and graduated from Shawnee High School in 1974. I then attended the University of Oklahoma, graduating with a B.A. in Letters in 1978. I then attended Oklahoma City University graduating in 1981 with my Juris Doctor.I am married to Susan Kay Gierhart and have 6 children.I am a general sole practitioner. I have been living in Choctaw, OK since 2005 and serving Oklahoma, Cleveland, Pottawatomie and Lincoln Counties regularly. However, I practice throughout the state of Oklahoma wherever my clients’ needs require.I enjoy the areas of Bankruptcy, Estate Planning, Guardianship, Probate, and Social Security Disability! I am constantly involved in the practice of Family Law handling Divorces, Modifications of Custody, Child Support, and many Paternity cases.I have 37 years of experience and because of my wide areas of experience I am able to advise my clients regarding the interactions between the different areas of law.I am a part time Adjunct Professor at Rose State College where I teach Social Security disability in the Paralegal Studies division.
