Anitra L. Eubanks joined Davis & Williams PLLC in 2014 as an associate attorney and specializes in simple and complex Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 consumer bankruptcy cases. Anitra has a strong track record of zealously defending her bankruptcy clients and has successfully argued a bankruptcy case on appeal before the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.Anitra joined the firm following an eight-year stint as Policy Analyst for the Jackson City Council where she drafted, reviewed and analyzed City policy. Shortly thereafter, Anitra served as General Counsel to former Mayor Chokwe Lumumba where she provided routine legal advice and assistance.Born in the Mississippi Delta, Anitra received her Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Tougaloo College in 2000 and a J.D. from Ole Miss Law School in 2003. Upon graduating from law school, Anitra served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Tyree Irving of the Mississippi Court of Appeals.Anitra is involved in numerous community organizations, and in her spare time enjoys watching historical documentaries and teaching financial literacy workshops and classes.
