Morgan A. V. Spah joined Drewes Law, PLLC as an attorney in January 2011 after departing from a local bankruptcy law firm where she practiced as a bankruptcy attorney since 2007. Morgan focuses her practice on bankruptcy and other legal tools used to help people through periods of financial distress. Morgan earned her law degree from Hamline University School of Law in 2006 and her bachelors degree from the University of Minnesota-Duluth in 2003 (Political Science-Public Policy). While attending law school Morgan focused her studies in the area of social justice and concentrated on gaining practical experience outside of the class room through her judicial internships and extensive work with the Minnesota Justice Foundation and the Volunteer Lawyers Network. Immediately after graduating from Hamline, Morgan gained experience working for Washington County Court Administration. In her spare time Morgan enjoys spending time with her husband and their two basset hounds. She also enjoys visiting her hometown of Duluth to see family and friends. Morgan is admitted to Minnesota state and federal courts, and is an active member of the Minnesota Bar Association-Bankruptcy Section and The National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys.
