I am originally from Pennsylvania, and moved to the Sunshine State to attend Florida State University. I earned a bachelor’s degree in history in 1998, and received my law degree from FSU in 2001.I was certified to practice while I was still in law school, and was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2002. I am also admitted to practice in the United States Federal Court, Middle District of Florida. In 2008, I received the Advocates of Justice Award for pro bono work from Community Legal Services of Mid Florida and the Volusia County Bar Association. After graduation, I served as a criminal-defense trial attorney for the Florida public defender’s office in Kissimmee and Ocala. During this time, I began representing debtors in personal bankruptcy cases as well.My passion for helping people resolve their financial worries led me to open my first Daytona Beach Bankruptcy law office in 2004. With over seven years of bankruptcy and litigation experience, I have represented over 1,000 clients in Foreclosure or Bankruptcy cases.
