Whether it is estate planning, probate, tax issues or a bankruptcy matter it is important to hire an attorney you have confidence in and trust. Therefore, I would like to tell you a little about myself.I was born and raised in the Everett Area. I grew up in a typical middle-class family where both parents worked to support the family. I attended Mariner High School and graduated in 1981. After a short enlistment in the Army I enrolled at the University of Washington where I earned a bachelor’s degree from the School of Business. I worked a few years at Boeing then left to pursue my legal education. I received by law degree from Gonzaga University in 1992 and continued my legal education at the University of Florida. I graduated in 1993 from the University of Florida with a master’s degree in tax law. After graduating from the University of Florida I returned to Everett to start my legal practice. I have been in practice since 1993. My practice is limited to assisting clients with their Probate, Estate Planning, Tax and Bankruptcy matters. To me, the most rewarding part of my practice is developing a plan with my clients to address their legal issues then working with them to put that plan in place.I am divorced and share custody of my two young sons. While they are young (and still want to spend time with their dad) I want to spend as much time with them as possible. I am fortunate to have a career that allows me to spend time with them when they are with me and work longer hours when they are not. One of our favorite family activities is skiing at Stevens Pass. We also enjoy mountain bike riding. When I have free time of my own I enjoy camping, hiking and golf.
