E-Mail Problems & Payment Problems

This is my first post here, and possibly I should have waited, but, I registered 2 times using e-mail addresses from my ISP, suddenlink.net, and once from another account, cotse.net; no activation mail came to any of these accounts. I finally tried my gmail address, and it worked.
Also, is PayPal the only way to pay for subscriptions ?
