Thoughts on what made him leave as head of the militia?
yeah, this week put miles in a clearer light.

i think he left when they evolved into just another terrorist group and that wasn't the purpose, it was suppose to "help" those in need since there was no one to enforce order. i mean of course i'm just speculating here.

i want to know more about that necklace and how it's hooking up. see, that is what makes no sense at all. if they turned everything off, someone knows how to turn it back on, it's like everyone is gone that help develop all that technology right? so where are all those people?

you cried???? i agree with GoingDown i can't believe every single car could have been effected. LOL!! i was laughing when my husband said why to they have that twine growning on everything and it's all the same green stuff. i had to remind him this is pretend, and not real.

Ok - so I take back my previous comments (eyes the frog...)

Given how Sandy has affected the east coast - in a matter of 3 days the looting began and people were unprepared for the massive impact. We are now at day 4 and tempers are flaring, food and water in short supply and lets not even get into the gas issue. Granted this was one hell of a storm - but... this has been happening more and more and the GOV'T isnt going to be there like people seem to believe they will be unfortunately. Look over your homeowners policy - does it include flood insurance? If you are a renter - do you have renters insurance? So many people dont....

People - this should be a massive wake up call - when they are calling for any type of storm or any other issue that is being predicted - PAY ATTENTION! Dont assume that because the last storm didnt hit as the weatherman stated, that the next one wont. Everyone should have a minimum of a 2 week supply of food (ready to eat), water, medications, power back up and gas, if possible.

This just breaks my heart every time I watch the news at the massive amounts of people that thought "it wont come in-land - I live 1 mile away from the ocean..." - or "we didnt think it would be this bad and we didnt prepare for more than 3 days without power/water/food...". Take a moment to review how much you have on hand if the power went out for a week or longer - excluding any other natural disasters - then throw into that mix Mother Nature. Stores would be closed, gas stations closed - everything that those in the affected states are currently experiencing.

What's even more heartbreaking and tears at my very being is the poor woman with the 2 little boys whose neighbor wouldnt let her in. Those 2 little boys got ripped out of her arms, only to be found later. Disasters bring out the best and worst in people....dont assume that your neighbor or "friend" will assist when something terrible happens. Unfortunately we've become a society of "mine"... That man will have to live with his decision for the rest of his life - some will say he was wrong in doing so, while others will say he was right. Makes you think what would you do in that situation? Terrible....

            Just heart breaking..

I know how much it must pain you to admit that I am right...........

While storms may not always be predictable, people are. (You can quote me on that)

From what we saw last week on the previews, this week is supposed to be the 'reveal' where we learn why the power went out. We'll see....
"To go bravely forward is to invite a miracle."

"Worry is the darkroom where negatives are formed."

I like the premise very much, but am starting to get tired of it. I almost turned it off last night. And at the same time that I am watching fiction, I tell myself that I can cruise around the Internet or the cable and see real life happening in the aftermath of Sandy.

I have become pretty good friends with several of my neighbors, and I would like to think that they would come to my aid in a time of trouble, but in the back of my mind I realize that I simply could not count of any of them to act in my best interest if it came between making sure their family was safe and provided for during a time of crisis and helping me out of a bad situation.

Living close to blood relatives (especially your mom, dad, sisters, and brothers) is so important. They are far less likely to turn you away than unrelated neighbors would be.

And of course, yes, being prepared with a two week supply of food, water, meds, and other necessities is always the best thing to do. So, you don't have to worry about being turned away by a neighbor during a time of crisis.
                          The world's simplest C & D Letter:
"I demand that you cease and desist from any communication with me."
Notice that I never actually mention or acknowledge the debt in my letter.

Hmmm... finding out there's only 3 episodes left for the season..is not a good thing. Seems to me with this weeks episode they're rushing it... which can only mean - cancellation.

Will be shocked if they cancel it - but then again, they ARE rushing into things a bit and are kinda helter skelter in how they're presenting. Kind of reminds me towards the last season of LOST - they sort of just left out the smoke monster all together when it was a major factor the entire previous years.

                              Ugh.

personally, i think if we all sit down collectively and submitted a scrip we could sell it after seeing this show. i'm sure between all of us we could have made the far more exciting and interesting. AND we could make some money! i don't think it will make it a second time around...just my opinion. i am really disappointed it could have been soooooooooooo good!
